Please note that acceptance of the oral paper also means that your submission will be included as a full paper in the proceedings of the conference. These will be four to six page papers, that will be fully refereed, and will represent a formal publication in the literature (i.e. they will have an IBN publication number, and will be referenced by Google scholar and other referencing systems). In other words – this publication will be a lasting and important legacy of your work long after the conference is over! More details about the paper will follow this email. If you have any queries about your paper for the proceedings, please contact the Editor (Ian Rutherfurd at idruth@unimelb.edu.au). Papers are due on the 9th September 2011.
All papers submitted to the proceedings will be reviewed by at least two reviewers. This guarantees the quality of the papers, and the quality of the material in the conference as a whole. Given that there will be well over a hundred papers, we will be calling on everybody who is submitting a paper to also review another paper (sometimes 2 papers). The editors will allocate you a paper that is close to your area of expertise, and you will be sent guidelines for reviewing. All of this will be done on line. Thankyou in advance for assisting with this important reviewing process.
If you have not registered and / or paid for the conference, please do so as a matter of urgency, as it is a condition of acceptance of your paper that you both register and pay. Your oral presentation and published paper will be withdrawn if you have not registered and/or paid by September 30.
